Terms and Conditions, Cancellations and No Show.

CARDS AND PAYPAL (DUE TO EXTRA CHARGE)
The prices are established according to the period of use and the number of occupants in our Hostel, the daily rates start at 2:00 p.m. and closes at 12:00 p.m. of the following day, regardless of the check in time. The remaining balance of the accommodation will be charged at the check-in.
The reservation will be confirmed after sending the proof of payment of the first deposit (50% of the total amount of the daily rates) by email. In case there is a need to cancel or change the reservation date, the client must communicate in writing. No cancellation or change by telephone will be accepted. The cancellation or change of dates will be subject to the collection of fees according to the conditions below:
Changing Booking Dates
No change of date will be charged, only the price difference between one period and another, observing the following deadlines:
Up to 15 days in advance of the date of entry: EXEMPT FROM FINE
Up to 7 days in advance of the date of entry: FINE 100% OF THE VALUE OF THE FIRST NIGHT-
Period less than 7 days: REFUND OF THE PAYMENT AMOUNT.
Note: Always according to the availability of vacancies (no changes will be made in Christmas, New Year and Carnival packages).
Considering the beginning of the package or daily, the amount paid will be refunded as follows:
Up to 15 days in advance of the date of entry: return of 100% of the value.
Up to 7 days in advance of arrival date: 100% of the first night’s rate will be charged
Less than 7 days in advance of the date of entry: NO REFUND OF THE PAYMENT.
Christmas / New Year’s Eve / Carnival / extended holidays / special packages
Up to 15 days in advance of the date of entry: 100% of the amount will be charged for the first night
Up to 7 days before the date of arrival: 50% of the total value of the reservation will be charged
Less than 7 days in advance of the date of entry: NO REFUND OF THE PAYMENT AMOUNT.
Non-attendance without prior written notice, on the expected date of arrival, will be considered no show.
The vacancy will remain available until 11:00 p.m of the day of the reservation, check-in after 11:00 pm must be communicated in advance. After this period the reservation will be canceled (with retention of 100% of the amount paid), making the vacancy available to another interested party. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND OF THE PAYMENT AMOUNT.
Cancellation after entry
Cancel during check-in or after, as well as early departure for any reason SHALL NOT GIVE RIGHT TO ANY TYPE OF REFUND, REFUND OF MONEY OR CREDIT ON NEW DAILY, resulting in the total loss of the amount paid for the package or daily.
Visits and guests- Respecting the privacy of other guests and the safety of everyone, visitors and guests are not allowed at any time.
Parking spaces- We have 2 parking spaces available within the property. We do not guarantee or reserve vacancies, we use the system on a first-come, first-served basis. Cars parked inside the property must leave the key at the front desk. Tucano House IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for any object or property left inside the vehicle, as it is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle in or near the establishment.
Cancellation of reservation for groups and events
Requests with up to 30 days prior to the start of the package, will be subject to a fine of 10% of the amount paid. Exceeding this deadline, the collection will be done as follows:
Between 29 and 21 days prior to the start of the package, 80% of the amount paid will be refunded.
Between 20 and 07 days prior to the start of the package, 60% of the amount paid will be refunded.
06 days prior to the beginning of the package THERE WILL BE NO REFUND OF THE PAYMENT AMOUNT.
